Compost and Recycling Permit

Have you signed up for your Permit to use the Millfair Compost and Recycling Center? It's easy - and Free!

Stop in at the Fairview Township Building on McCray Road (south across from Fairview High School)...enter and turn left into the first office and request your permit. You will have to show your drivers license. You will be logged in, and will receive a sturdy hang tag for your rear view mirror. The tag, which is your permit, can be moved to which ever vehicle you are using for hauling.

Here's a handy tip - The hours of operation for the Center are printed on the back of the tag!

Stamp Out Hunger

As you may have already heard, this Saturday, May 9, 2009 is the day to leave food outside for your mail carrier to pick up to help Stamp Out Hunger.

There are volunteers who are going to be picking up food donations on Saturday from your mailbox area. Please be generous and help the less fortunate. All food donations stay in our area - so your donation truly makes a difference at home.

Please remember to put out a donation of nonperishable food on Saturday before your mail is delivered.
